The cost of jxProject is: $20.00 USD for five(5) activations for one year.
The benefits of activation are:
The elimination of scrolling advertisements and the need to download advertisements.
The undo/redo stack is increased from 10 to 50.
The number of times the user can request automated resource optimization is increased from 10 to unlimited.
The application performs better/faster without the need to manage the advertisements.
The purchaser may utilize the serial number to activate jxProject on any machine(s), for any user(s) until all of the activations are exhausted or the one year activation period has expired. The purchaser of the serial number is free to distribute the serial number to any one. Upgrades of the jxProject software are free and do not require re-activation.
To activate jxProject, you must first download and install the latest version of Java, and then install the latest version of jxProject. Once you have jxProject running, go to the menu bar Tools -> License Activation... and you will be shown a dialog which you can populate with your name, email, phone and a serial number. You then submit the activation request, which connects to the jxProject server to validate the information and return an activation file. The advertising is removed immediately after a successful activation.

jxProject Licensing and
Activation Information:
Each serial number has 5 activations associated with it. Each activation is strongly associated with the users logon id and home directory. If your logon and home directory change after you activate the software, your activation will be invalid. You will need to re-activate your installation using the same or different serial number.
Each serial number can activate a jxProject installation for a period of one year. That year begins on the date of the first activation of the serial number. Here is an example:
A serial number is purchased on April 1, 2005. The user does not use the serial number for its first activation until July 1, 2005. The one year activation period will then expire on July 1, 2006. Now, lets say this same serial number is used to activate jxProject on a different machine a couple of months later(October 5, 2005). The activation on this new machine will also expire on July 1, 2006, as will any other activations using this same serial number.
Please keep in mind that if you distribute a serial number to one or more people, then they will be able to exhaust all of the activations associated with that serial number, whether you want them to or not. Securing the serial number and controlling how it is used is the responsibility of the purchaser.
An activated installation of jxProject will not reveal the serial number which was used to activate it. You will want to record and store your serial number as you may need it in the future. If you want to activate a version of jxProject for someone, without revealing your serial number to them, you can do that by performing the activation on their machine yourself.
If you find that you have lost your serial number and you need to get it back. You will need the serial number hash code which is accessible from the "Help About" screen or the License activation dialog. Send an email to support@jxProject.com and include the serial number hash code along with as much information as you can about the purchase and purchaser of the serial number.
